What would you do if two of your best friends had dedicated their livesto protect you and your business? What would you do if you lost saidbusiness and had to vacate the property? Would you take your dogswith you? This is what every sensible person would do. Unfortunatelythis is not always the case.Meet “PEPE” & “CHATA”, a father-daughter Rottweiler team who whereabandoned by their owner in this junk yard. Believe it, this is their home!
They were left without food & water to fend for themselves behindthese bars.
During business hours this is where they were kept, in a boarded upmakeshift pen where they could barely turn around, with dirtycardboard in lieu of bedding.
At night they had a job to do, roaming and protecting the yard. Thiswas their life. This is all they knew of the world.Under those circumstances you would expect these two dogs to beresentful, withdrawn and probably aggressive. Well, you would bewrong! “Pepe” & “Chata” who have probably never known the touch of a gentle hand and a warm loving environment are not only friendly butwelcoming, playful and loving
Some good Samaritans discovered the two abandoned dogs thismorning and decided to change the course of their lives. Instead of walking away or calling Animal Control (where they would have surelybeen euthanized due to their drastic physical appearance), theybrought food and contacted rescues.
We went to evaluate them this afternoon, and to our surprise foundwarm and friendly dogs eventhough their medical condition needs tobe addressed immediately. Besides the usual spay/neuter, vaccination,micro-chipping, we need to raise funds for their underlying skincondition which is anyone’s guess at this point. They are covered withsores and concrete burns and probably are ridden with parasites and vermin.
As rescuers, we can not walk away especially when we know that thereis a home out there which will be able to give them the life and lovethey deserve.Father and daughter are extremely bonded. After all, all they had wasonly each other for so long. We need help with raising funds for theirmedical issues and temporary boarding fees.
Please look in the eyes of these two abandoned dogs and find it in yourheart to donate to their critical care. The path to their recovery andfuture is clear. They will get the attention, both medically andemotionally, that they so sorely missed.Again, we can not stress enough that those two Rotties are gentle, friendly and, considering their circumstances, trustworthy! Please help Sachi Animal Rescue help them!
You can donate directlyto their names “Pepe” & “Chata”, or donate directly to our Veterinarian ofchoice, for their treatment.
