ALEX

ALEX - a playful, tall senior with spunk & zest for life is waiting in a foster home for a stay-at-home person that will commit to Alex for the rest of his life.

You would not believe by looking at him but Alex bears emotional scars by what was done to him.

Like most rescue dogs, he was discarded by his owners. A local rescue did save his life but failed to find him a home in the four years they kept him in a kennel. Volunteers from Sachi Animal Rescue sponsored a few months of training in a free-range facility where he blossomed, running around with other dogs and enjoying the good life under the sun.

Sachi Animal Rescue took ownership of Alex and put him in a foster home where he is learning to live as part of a family.

Alex has been lonely for so long and deserves to find a more quiet stay-at-home mom and/or dad to enjoy and savor every day of his life. He is crate trained but will show some anxiety at first when put in his crate.

Even though he has lived with male and female dogs, he prefers to be the only one. Well, maybe a cute girl around the house wouldn’t be so bad.

Alex is very active and loves long walks. He also loves stuffed animals and playtime in the yard with his person. Did we mention that he has his obedience down? He was also given a clean bill of health after his senior check-up just recently.
