** New SAR dog TRIXIE **

(by Melissa) Here is Trixie, she is a year old and was rescued from Dogs Day In Shelter, on 5/25/11. She came in to the shelter as a stray and had been their since 5/5/11. Trixie, weighed about 40lbs, and was extremely dehydrated when I pulled her from the shelter. Her ribs and hip bones were sticking out and her coat was very dry. She was very distant and depressed. Fortunately, she is now with her foster mom, and she has probably gained about 5lbs. She does the Boxer wiggle butt and gives plenty of kisses! She has so much energy and life in her now!
