Meet PAWLY

I cried when I heard the story of Pawly and her best buddy Smokey. Pawly is eight years young and Smokey was five. These two lived the good life. They were very loved, part of the family, and were well taken care of. They slept on the furniture, had plenty of toys and treats, and had a big yard to play in. They became members of this family when they were young puppies...the only home they knew. These two were victims of the tough economy. First, you lose the job and eventually you lose the house. You have to move, the new place won't take dogs. Pawly and Smokey end up in the shelter together. Both were examined by a vet and both were healthy. Both dogs were very stressed, being in a kennel for the first time, all that noise, in a run, missing their family and home. Smokey couldn't take it. Shelter workers came in one morning and Smokey was dead. Maybe a heart attack, but certainly a broken heart. Pawly is now all alone. She is a great dog. She is house trained. She is good with men, women, children and other dogs. (she ignors cats). She loves to cuddle, play with tennis balls and she loves her baths. She is afraid of thunder and fireworks.
