new SAR dog - meet "SCOOBY"

Scooby Doo was a very scared boy. And who wouldn't be, when you are dumped from the only home you have ever known. First he gets dumped by his family, sent to a loud, crazy place, with all sorts of smells, and surrounded by bars. Strange people look at him in this small confined space. He has no place to hide. A vet tries to examine him in uncomfortable places. He gets neutered. Scooby has been through a lot. He didn't handle it well at the shelter. He's starting to feel better at our kennel. People talk to him sweetly, bring him treats and take him for walks. He is starting to understand that he is safe. We are going to take it slow with Scooby. He is only about a year and a half old, and needs to gain some confidence. He walked very well today with Miss Mindy. He even had a little hop in his walk. He has the support of many Sachi volunteers. Scooby Doo is gonna do just fine.
