The volunteers of Sachi Animal Rescue have lots of fun when hiking with the puppies. The trail behind the house is made for eager dogs. Some dogs are great off-leash and enjoy the freedom of being able to run a mile ahead of the volunteers, while others are a bit too focused on the wild life and have to stay on the leash - at least for now. The weather was perfect and enticed us to go even further than usually. The munchkins were full of spunk and ran around like puppies very much to the enjoyment of the volunteers.
After their hike all the dogs had grooming appointments to get fluffed and buffed. A delicious dinner awaited the sparkling clean doggies and the maids have made the beds. The volunteers on the other hands were very dusty, tired, starved and did not really look so hot after the last walk but that is a small price to pay when you look in the faces of very happy dogs!
