The SAR volunteers took me to this ranch where I learned to be a doggie again. I had a huuuge yard to roam around and learned to first tolerate, then actually like my canine friends. I had to go through obedience training too, didn’t like this quite as much but hey, if this is what a dog has to go through to find his forever home, I’m down with that! I know 15 on-leash commands, and I sometimes amaze myself at how easy it is to impress some humans with that knowledge!
When it comes to people, I am a bit more choosy. I need someone who will understand I’ve had a rough voyage but I can guarantee you that once you’ve won me over, I will be the best friend people can only dream of.
