LINUS
Linus was found last Sunday running around outside EFBC's Feline Conservation Center in the desert in Rosamond. He is around 5 years of age, unaltered. He's very sweet and well-behaved.
We don't know much about him and he is currently waiting for his owner to show up and claim him. If that does not happen, he will be neutered, vaccinated and put up for adoption.
Stay put for more info after the weekend.

SAR dogs are off to the beach!
Just because they don't have permanent homes yet, does not mean they can't have fun like a regular dog. In matter of fact, the SAR dogs do not only go for multiple hikes a week in Malibu but also spend time at the beach. How many dogs in homes, do you know, do all that???

SAMMY is adopted !
Sammy went home today. While it is extremely hard for me to express anything right now, I just said goodbye to my special Samurai, I want to share with you the note Amy and Scott wrote to all of us:
Dear Sachi Animal Rescue,
Thank you so much for trusting us to care for your beloved Sammy. We cannot wait to bring him into our family.
We especially recognize how difficult it must be to give up your handsome love and promise to love and cherish him with all our hearts.
Thank you again for all that you do for Sammy and all of the dogs you help.
We will keep in close touch as we begin this long journey together.
God Bless,
- Scott and Amy
I know that Sammy has found his people.

Lazy Thursday
The SAR people were a lazy bunch on Thursday. No long hikes, only playing in the yard with the puppies.
