SAR's "BAILEY" , "BREE", and "DOZER" are adopted

new SAR dog - meet "JILLIAN"

Jillian is a gorgeous fawn female boxer, 5 or 6 years old, that was turned in to a high kill shelter by her owner a couple weeks ago. Jillian was very stressed at being dumped by the only home she had ever known, and put in a shelter will all kinds of barking dogs and strange smells. She got a very bad case of kennel cough and had to be put in isolation at the Dr Sam's office. She was on antibiotics and had almost no activity. She has now recovered and will be spayed on Monday. She is a calm, more mature boxer that is great with people. She will be tested with other dogs and cats this week. Jillian is a total sweetheart.

new SAR dog - meet "JUNIOR"

Junior is an awesome puppy. He is an adorable brindle with black mask. He has a very sweet, submissive personality. He is on the smaller size and appears to be 6 to 8 months old. We will know more when we take him to the vet for neuter. Junior, like the rest of the Fab 5, is totally socialized with other dogs. He, along with siblings, was taken from a breeder in Ventura county that had too many dogs. All of the 13 dogs of this breeder were found in the back yard together, romping and having a grand time. Junior has a great temperament. He has no training, but Junior will be very easy to train.

All of the 13 dogs of this breeder were found in the back yard together, romping and having a great ole time. Hoss has a wonderful temperament. But Hoss lacks any real home experience and no training. He is very treat oriented and will learn quickly. With training and attention, Hoss will become the dog of your dreams.

All of the 13 dogs of this breeder were found in the back yard together, romping and having a grand time. Brutus has a wonderful temperament. new SAR dog - meet "MOLLY"

This is Molly, 7 yr old female at her foster home in Redlands with Ellen . Ellen has never had a large dog before and is totally in love with Molly, she says that she is very well mannered, walks perfect on a leash, rides well in a car and gets along with all of her dogs which are all pekes except for one! Molly lost an eye to an unfortunate animal attack a long time ago so she has learned how to get by with just one eye, but I think it would be wise to keep her away from cats or any dogs that may cause her any potential harm. This girl is a dream for someone that does not want a young energetic boxer and would just like some great company and a great dog to take on walks with no problems.

new SAR dog - meet "PONCHO"

You never know what our volunteers will run into when the go to the shelters. Suzanne went to San Bernadino City shelter yesterday to pick up 2 boys, Ryder and Austin. As she was getting ready to leave, a man with his small child was bringing in his beautiful young 1 1/2 year old brindle boxer to be turned in to this high kill shelter. Austin probably had 2 days to be adopted or not... Poncho is a great dog, great with kids, other dogs, and cats. Suzanne worked some magic and was able to find a foster for Poncho. So Poncho was saved before he ever got checked in the shelter. Talk about being at the right place at the right time! Poncho was well taken care of by his former owner, was neutered and is up to date on shots. His owner basically traded Poncho in for a newer model. He no longer wanted Poncho so he can concentrate on his 6 month old puppy. Nice lesson to teach your children, jerk. But this owner's loss is Sachi's gain.

Get your applications in right away. Poncho is a gem and is going to find a forever home very quickly. He is doing great in his foster home. We will keep you updated with info and pictures.

new SAR dog - meet "JACK"

Jack is a very cute, white male boxer. Jack is about 3 years old and, thank goodness, is past that rambunctious puppy stage. He is calm, not jumpy and well behaved. You could take Jack out to meet the parents and he would definitely impress. He is still a little under the weather from getting neutered and has a little kennel cough. He will be evaluated in the next few days when he is feeling better. He is good on a leash and good with people. We need to check him with other dogs, cats, and kids.

new SAR dog - meet "RYDER"

Ryder is a very handsome, sweet, and playful young boxer boy. He is fawn with black mask. He's between a year and 2 years. He is full of energy and is ready to play at any moment. His motto is "all I want to do is have some fun". Ryder is very happy go lucky, doesn't seem to have a care in the world. Ryder is great with people and other dogs. He walks well on a leash and knows some commands. He has kennel cough right now and will be evaluated further when he is feeling better. He still needs to be neutered and updated on shots. Whoever adopts Ryder will be getting an awesome dog.

Foster mommy Kari wrote this about GUS

Gus Gus Gus what can I say about this dog he's amazing. He's approx 12 years old. He was turned in by his owners to be euthanized basically didn't want him anymore he was very sick These people should be on a list to never have animals again. Anyhow, thanks to Sachi Animal Rescue they rescued him nursed him back to health and voila he's much better. I've been fostering him for about 5 months now and honestly he's not going anywhere.Gus deserves the best of the best in his golden years! He's calm and submissive and very smart loves other dogs and cats too. He needed a little training and caught on quickly. I've even trained him not to eat my cats food! I enjoy walking him through my neighborhood Gus has even helped the kids that live around here some of them were terrified of dogs. I'd explain to them its okay he's Grandpa Gus he can't hurt a fly and the next thing they're petting him with a big smile on their face; this makes my day every time. He's very popular everyone knows him by name and calls out to him when were out on walks. They don't know my name but they sure know Gus (which is perfect for me I really don't want everyone knowing my name, ha!)

Daisy needs a home!

Daisy is approx. 2-3 yrs. old with a sweet, sweet, sweet demeanor. She is submissive and loving in every way especially with KIDS! She loves to play with big kids who can chase and run with her. She loves to play with toys or balls or just run around the yard. She is trained to sleep and spend time inside a crate when needed. She loves to sleep with or near people but she will also sleep quietly in her crate which can be helpful at times. She will sit or give you her paw if you have a treat to bribe her with and she will even sing you a song if you can speak dog to her.

Daisy above all else is sweet. Her loving demeanor is perfect for a family or a friend anyone who chooses Daisy will have a loving dog for a long time.

new SAR dog - meet "TITAN"

(by foster mommy Lisa):
Titan is a beautiful 2 year old red deer fawn brindle with a black face and black full ears. He is a little rough around the edges but wants to please. He is a fast learner. He has a beautiful personality a true boxer, goofy, playful, full of energy, very affectionate, not aggressive with food or objects. He is being potty trained, learning the word sit, off if he gets on something he isn’t allowed on or if he jumps, down to lay down, leave it so he will leave anything you tell him to and we will work on stay once he learns sit better. He will be a wonderful addition to any home and family. He has more love in him than he knows what to do with. He will need a family that is high energy and can keep him engaged. He is one of the most beautiful boxers I have ever seen and had the pleasure to meet. (except for mine of course)

new SAR dog - meet "FROSTY"

This is Frosty. He came to us just in time for winter. Frosty is a cute 4 year old white boxer. Frosty spent a couple weeks at Baldwin Park shelter where he got pretty stressed out. We will work with Frosty, making sure he gets comfortable in his new surroundings and new kennel. Then we will do a full evaluation of Frosty the Snowman.

new SAR dog - meet "CJ"

CJ is an incredibly handsome 2 year old brindle male. I would definitely call him a "hunk" He's got a big, german boxer head and a big, buff body (64 lbs). His best friend is Brandi, and is always looking for her when she is not near. He is a very nice boy who walks well on a leash. He is great with people and good with Brandi (we will check him out with other dogs, and cats). He is pretty calm but has a little kennel cough. We will fully evalulate him when he is feeling better. He also needs to be neutered and updated on all shots. This boy is a keeper.

new SAR dog - meet "BRANDI"

Brandi is a very cute brindle female about 2 years old. She was pulled from a high kill shelter with her best friend, CJ, in the nick of time. She is a very sweet girl. She is great with people. We know that she is good with CJ but will need test her with other dogs (and cats) as well. I am looking forward to spending more time with Brandi getting to know more of her personality. Today she was very concerned with CJ, and a little lost when he was not near. She's been through a lot in the last 2 weeks, being a stray, being on death row in a shelter, and now in a new kennel. But she's gonna be just fine.

new SAR dog - meet "LILY"

Lily is a very sweet and very tiny 4 year old fawn female who has seen more than her share of litters. She is a total sweetheart. She is good with other dogs and great with people. She is calm and over all that crazy puppy stage. We'll test her with kids but I'm sure she will do great. She is very gentle and loving. She does have kennel cough but we will get her through it. She needs to be spayed and updated on all shots. She will get a full temperament evaluation, including the cat test.

new SAR dog - meet "AMBER"

This is Amber who arrived to Sachi this weekend. She is named Amber because of her amazing amber eyes. Her eyes are such an unusual color for a boxer. I couldn't look away. She is a very sweet fawn girl about 2 years old. She has been kenneled with another female boxer, Lilly, so we know she is good with females. She is good with people. We need to give her a full evaluation but this sweetheart is going to be an "easy" boxer. She is just a great gal, that ended up in the wrong family who didn't love or cherish her for life. She deserves so much more. Amber will be spayed this week and brought up to date on all shots.

new SAR dog - meet "BARBIE"

You better get your applications in quick...Barbie is "on the market" This Barbie has it all. She has stunning looks, great personality, and a natural tail whose end looks like it has been dipped in white paint. She is a flashy fawn with beautiful markings. Barbie is an absolute doll. She is very sweet and loves to give kisses. She is good with other dogs and people. She is about 1 year old and is very petite at 43 lbs. Amazingly, this pup was taken from the euthanasia room at a high kill shelter. Now that's what we call a rescue! Barbie needs to be spayed and updated on all shots. She'll be ready for her forever home in no time.

new SAR dog - meet "BREE"

Bree is our newest girl to the Sachi group. She is a beautiful flashy fawn, about 2 years old. Bree is very sweet and very frightened. This little girl has a natural tail, which has been hard to see because it's always in the submissive position, down and between her legs. She just got out of the shelter is totally unsure of what is happening to her. It will take her a little while to get comfortable and know that she is safe. We will take extra care to get her over her fright, and more confident in her surroundings. She will be evaluated in a few days. She also needs to be spayed and updated on all shots.

new SAR dog - meet "HANNAH"

This is little Hannah. She is a precious, petite (41 pounds), sweet flashy fawn girl about one and a half years old. She reminds me of a flower, she is just beautiful and very gentle. She was an owner turn-in to a high kill shelter. I cannot imagine anyone taking her to that awful place. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and I don't even know if she can bark! We will evaluate her with other dogs and kids but I know she's going to come through with flying colors. Yeah Hannah banana montana!

SAR's "MARGAUX" is adopted!
